Wallshill
Another stoll from the hotel is Wallshill. From the hotel, past the Bowling Green, Tennis Courts and Church to the entrance of Wallshill is an easy 8 minute walk. Once on the Hill there are several different walks to take, each lasting only about 10 minutes, unless you stop to enjoy the wonderful views of Lyme Bay, across to Teignmouth Dawlish and Exmouth. On a clear day it is possible to see as far as Sidmouth. For the more energetic, a follow the footpath across Wallshill and down into Ilsham Valley and down again to Anstey`s Cove beach. The return can be made across Wallshill or the easier
option is up to the main Babbacombe Road from Anstey`s cove and follow the road back to the entrance of Wallshill. This is not a long walk but with seats and spectacular views along the way it could take all day!
